For the moment, Madrona Books is a team of one (plus several capable friends, freelancers, and supporters).

Kevin Breen is the press’s founder and Executive Editor. Since graduating from Eastern Washington University’s MFA program, Kevin has worked as an editor. He has honed his editorial eye through experiences at New England Review, Willow Springs Books, and Latah Books.

Originally from Philadelphia, Kevin has lived in Baltimore, Yakima, Spokane, and now Olympia. He is a Sixers fan, an outdoor enthusiast, and a propagandist for whichever book he’s just finished reading.
